Botanic Gardens, Flora

With today being damp, cold and windy we are both glad that we have yesterday to remember for the sunshine. I loved all the scents, too; not just the witch hazel but the Wintersweet which was blooming and scenting the little sensory garden. It's such a plain looking flower and such a beautiful scent.

Celandine

Iris

Snowdrops

Witch Hazel (Hamamelis)

Rhododendron bud

Rhododendron bloom

those flowers are so lovely - our celandine is only just starting to show itself, and there are a few other bulbs just thinking about coming out to play as well. Hoping to get some jobs in the garden this week!

I think I've said it before, but how lucky you are to have such an early spring. Flowers and scents, and birds singing their hearts out - I'm longing for that.
