is what it was today. Our car has been reluctant to start on cold mornings, and I wanted to prove to C that we really do need a new battery - now! But the locks were so frozen that I still hadn't even got into the car let alone tried to start it before it was time to go to work. I still had time to snap a couple of shots of the frosty leaves on the green, and a not so good one of the frosty roses in a neighbour's garden.
We had our first frost here last week and I was so consumed with getting the windshield defrosted I failed to find the beauty in the frost like you did. Those roses look like sugar candied ones you'd put on a cake.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am thankful to have our cars tucked into our garage...one thing my DH is picky about.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had our first frost yet, but any day now. I've got some plants still to get in the ground...this weekend for sure. Love the pic of the rose...I still have a few in my garden.
Frost? I can't even imagine that right now. What beautiful photos though. Love the leaf in the grass. Sorry for the inconvenience of the frost, even though it leant to some fabulous photos.
