These pictures are wonderful. The colorful flower beds at the castle must have been gorgeous IRL. I am going to try to duplicate that scrollwork on the cathedral door in my zentangle book. But I am intrigued by the cats - or are they gargoyles? - carved into the cathedral walls. I have to admit to not ever having the pleasure of seeing a cathedral in person, not counting St. Patrick's in NYC, and I didn't think they'd have carvings like that.
